About me

I combine my background in Industrial Engineering and Information Systems with a passion for UX Design.

Why the switch? Because understanding people is what drives me. I love creating products that empower users from all walks of life and seeing the positive impact on their experiences.

There's nothing more satisfying than tackling user pain points and crafting intuitive, user-friendly designs that make tasks a breeze. The entire UX process – from deep dives into user needs to crafting, testing, and refining solutions – is an exciting rollercoaster that leaves me exhilarated and fulfilled.

My design principles

Accessibility first

Ensure the designs are accessible to everyone, this takes precedence over aesthetic considerations.

Problem-solving priority

Focus on addressing and solving the core user problems that directly impact their experience and satisfaction.

Functional first, delight later

Ensure all essential functionalities and requirements are implemented before enhancing with delight.

Iterative feedback

Implement continuous feedback; always improve based on real user-data and insights.

Learning

I am constantly improving my design skills with the platform UXCEL and with courses from Interaction Design Foundation (ixDF). I am currently enrolled in the UX/UI Designer career path in UXCEL and Visual Design in ixDF. I am also improving my German through Duolingo and the free courses from the Volkshochschule. I started learning Japanese and Korean in Duolingo.
